Travel Funds

Guidelines for Travel

The Writing Across the Curriculum program is offering travel money to its faculty members and writing consultants. Faculty members and writing consultants will be eligible to receive travel reimbursements of up to $500 for conference presentations about writing and/or the teaching of writing (subject to approval).

To receive the travel reimbursement, presenters must:

1. Provide a brief proposal explaining the scope of the presentation, and its relationship to writing across the curriculum and/or writing in the discipline.
2. Submit application and copy of acceptance letter (at least two weeks before the conference).
3. Bring in original copies of receipts for air travel, hotel, gas (mileage), etc soon after returning from the conference. Note: We cannot reimburse for conference registration.


Money will be granted on a first come first served basis. Applicants may submit proposal via email to Dr. Brennan Collins at engcbc@langate.gsu.edu or to the Writing Across the Curriculum office, 913 GCB.
